Functional Zone

At Premium Training Center we have a functional area designed to complement the technical work on the field and improve the player's physical performance.

This space allows us to work on key abilities such as coordination, strength, speed, balance, mobility, stability and physical conditioning, always adapting the exercises to the age, level, position and objectives of each footballer.

Functional training is not done in isolation, but as part of a comprehensive preparation. Everything done off the field has a clear objective: to help the player move better, compete with greater intensity, prevent injuries, and perform better during the game.

What do we work on in the functional area?

  • Coordination and agility.

  • Strength adapted to football.

  • Speed and changes of direction.

  • Balance and stability.

  • Mobility and injury prevention.

  • Resistance and physical conditioning.

  • Activation prior to fieldwork.

Our approach combines physical preparation and real football, so that each player can transfer what they have worked on in the functional zone directly to the pitch.
